THAT'S KEEPING THE HORSE BEFORE THE CART
Horse Cart has grown over the past year to the point where Inow need an
energetic/kind/very competent/perfect partner to keep the owner/veterinarian/manager
(me) from going bonkers (or more bonkers, depending on your point of view).
We need and want a wonderful veterinarian, of course, that goes almost without saying. We handle a wide variety of difficult medical and surgical cases that can challenge even the most competent of practitioners.
But the statement beneath our name above really does apply - we earnestly try to live up to those words every day. In terms of a new veterinarian here, most of all we need a person who sincerely cares about helping and healing, and who is humble, open and honest with clients.
Professionals can go about their daily business in a multitude of ways., and there are no rights and wrongs, just consequences.
The consequence we most want here is for the pets we heal and the clients we help to leave this place feeling like they were better off for having met us. Better off in the rare sense of having simply been treated well by sincere people who didn't make a big fuss about it.
When you meet some new folks like that and come away knowing deep in your gut that they just wanted to find some way to help, and wouldn't stop trying until they did, that is pretty special.
