Money issues can destroy the relationship of trust that makes caring for your pets a warm,
comfortable and affordable thing to do. If you think you are getting ripped off and exploited in the
name of good medical care, then it is pretty hard to place much faith in the veterinarian standing across
the table from you.

At Horse Cart, we strive always to be fair, honest and open about our charges. In practice, this means
we do not nickel and dime you for every little service provided. This is how bills mount up to
unaffordable levels in serious cases.

We do not charge for nail trims and anal gland expressions and similar routine procedures while your
pet is here for surgeries or dentistry or the like. We do not charge operating room fees or surgical
pack fees or per minute anesthetic rates.

It is not the average charges for spays, neuters, vaccines, etc that define a hospital's fee structure, it is
how quickly the bills mount up when they have serious medical problems that demand serious solutions.
We try in ways large and small to keep those bills just as reasonable as possible.

Does that make us the cheapest clinic around? No, because we cannot be and do a good job for your
pets. We deliberately set our fees, after much research, to be average or sometimes a little below
average for similar hospitals in this area.

We also try very hard to be flexible and adaptable to individual critter needs, and to the needs of your
pocketbook. If your puppy is doing great and does not need an exam for their second or third puppy
vaccines, we don't require one.

We do thorough exams for spays and neuters without charging for them. Our prices for those routine
procedures include pain meds, pre-surgery medications, anesthesia and any follow-up needed.

In a nutshell, we offer value here - excellent work and caring service for very reasonable prices. You get
a lot for the money you spend, in a warm, genuine, caring environment where your pets are treated like
our family.
